Service Description
BLS for Providers learn both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for use in both prehospital and in-facility situations, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam. Covered in BLS Key changes in basic life support, reflecting the new science from the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC Critical concepts of high-quality CPR Bag-mask techniques for adult, child and infant Rescue breathing for adult, child and infant Relief of choking for adult, child and infant. The American Heart Association Chain of Survival 1-Rescuer CPR and AED for adult, child and infant Multirescuer resuscitation Differences between adult, child and infant rescue techniques Upon successful completion of the course, the student will receive an AHA BLS Course Completion eCard valid for two years. Your eCard will be issued within 1-3 business days.
